Childhood memories are to be cherished. We KVRians went a step ahead and relived it. This father’s day, we were given blank sheets. Confused yet excited, we kept wondering what to do exactly. And the minute it was announced that we have to paint a picture displaying our dearest memory with our father; ideas kept rolling.
No matter where we head in life, there is always that one memory that reminds us of the love we share with our parents. We quite excitedly sketched a memory that reminded us of our dear dads. There is always a story behind it and so we either narrated or wrote the story behind the drawing. Each drawing was different yet felt similar.
The activity had us all got overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions. And it did trigger us all to go down the memory lane and feel the nostalgia. From watching cartoons together to fixing the cable TV; the sketches had them all. And of course, there were many memories to portray but only one could be sketched. Still, all drawings were easy to relate to and feel. Most importantly, it made us realize what a blessing it truly is to grow under the blessed wings of your father. Each drawing portrayed a father’s love through several activities.
Activities like these bring us closer as regardless of what we choose to make, we can connect with each other’s works. It also made us all feel grateful and appreciate the golden childhood we all got to relive that day.
