It just takes a few seconds to help…

Yes, you read it write, almost everything but not everything. It sounds bit sarcastic, yet it’s true. However, what I observed recently is that your little deeds can change things around. It is not necessary that you have to donate millions for helping others. And, it is not required to leave your family and friends in search of the Almighty. All you need is to search for the little happiness around you.

You can start it anytime, as I did; it’s never too late. In the burning hot summer days, how many times do you drink water, juice, cold drinks, etc. to trickle down your throat? Definitely, you don’t count it. But, have you ever thought of those innocent beings, which have no such choices. For example, the birds in your corridors, it becomes really hard for them in hot days to quench their thirst.

I realized this, when I saw the two little birds sitting on a broken pipe, waiting for few water droplets. They were helpless, but I was not.

The immediate moment I brought a container, pour some water and kept it in the passageway. In few minutes, a bird came flying with stretched wings and dry throat. Sitting besides the container, it started peeping here and there, just to check whether someone was watching it or not.

Luckily, I escaped from his tiny eyes and captured the sweet moment. Although, it was not a great deed, yet it gave a great feeling. Lastly, the joy of life is hidden in our encounters with new experiences. There is no greater joy than to work selflessly.
